I'm proud to say that I am an RIT alum, and that after all these years, I'm still working in my field of study, Graphic Design. Okay, I guess you could have learned that from my resumé.

A year ago, I was the initiator and team leader in my then-employer's quest to make the switch from QuarkXPress® to Adobe® InDesign®. In a creative group of more than 25 team members, this was no small task. I received formal training and then followed that up with a series of training sessions given by me to the creative team. I then made myself available to assist team members one-on-one as they made the transition.

I currently spend many hours a day training in web design software, best practices, techniques, and all that web design encompasses. It is my goal to add web design to my list of "stuff I'm really good at". For now, I'm still learning. But, I learn fast!

I have a dream of learning the Apple iPhone SDK and designing a few iPhone Applications. Programming code is not something that I have much experience with, but I am determined. I see this as a very promising technology and want very much to ride that wave.

I am an admitted Apple Fangirl. I really love all products Apple, and have visited the Apple Headquarters in Cupertino, CA. I ate in the employee cafeteria and Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vp of Worldwide Product Marketing, sat at the next table. Yes, I'm kind of a geek in that way. I'm okay with that.
